Terms and Conditions

Welcome to What Are We Wearing. These Terms & Conditions govern your hire of clothing items from our collection via whatarewewearingofficial.com. By booking any rental, you agree to the following:
1. Rental Period & Late Returns
- Your hire begins on the delivery date and ends on the return date confirmed in your booking.
- If your return is late, a fee of £20 per day applies until we receive the item (this reflects standard practices across UK hire services).
2. Booking & Payment
- Full payment is required upfront to secure your rental.
- Prices include delivery and professional dry cleaning. Customers are responsible for the cost of returning their item via Royal Mail Special Delivery unless they select the prepaid return slip option at checkout.
3. Delivery & Returns
- We deliver to the address provided at checkout.
- Delivery is included in your hire price. For returns, you must send the garment back using Royal Mail Special Delivery at your own expense, unless you have chosen the prepaid return slip option during checkout. Items must be packaged securely in the original packaging and returned on or before the agreed date following the instructions provided.
4. Care & Cleaning
- All items remain the property of What Are We Wearing.
- Please handle them carefully and do not attempt to clean or alter them — professional handling is included.
5. Damage, Loss, or Theft
- Damages beyond normal wear (such as irreversible stains or tears), loss, or theft may result in charges up to the item’s full retail price.
- Normal wear and minor imperfections are covered within the rental fee.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
- We do not offer refunds under any circumstances. If you cancel your booking within 5 days of the rental start date, you will receive store credit equal to the rental value paid. Store credit can be used toward future rentals and will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
- Cancellations made with less than 5 days' notice will not be eligible for store credit.
7. Sizing & Fit
- Please ensure you review sizing details carefully before booking. We are not liable for mis-fits. Exchanges may be possible, subject to availability and any additional delivery charges.
8. Liability
- We are not liable for injury or allergic reactions arising from garment use. We are not responsible for courier delays beyond our control.
9. Privacy
- We will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved within its courts.
